The most compact impact wrench in its class offers the best access in tight spaces, up to 250 lb-ft of nut breaking torque and maximum visibility of the workspace. The M18 FUEL 1/2 inch compact impact wrench with friction ring is only 4.9 inches long, while the POWERSTATE Brushless motor helps remove stubborn fasteners, even in confined spaces. Tri-LEDs surround the anvil to provide brighter light with fewer shadows. The 4-mode drive control provides greater precision with a range of preset RPM and internal RPM levels, selectable from a single button on the tool. By selecting mode 4, the AUTO SHUT-OFF control applies a maximum torque of 20 ft-lbs for hand fastening applications to prevent over tightening. Additionally, in Mode 4, the bolt removal control provides maximum output torque, then decreases RPMs once the bolt is loosened to prevent dropping of the fasteners.
